Our Story

In October of 1998, we opened our first Fuji restaurant in Wollaston and established ourselves as the pioneer sushi guys in Quincy. We now proudly present to you the latest rendition of our original Fuji concept—Version 6.0—by the name of Fuji at WoC. Over the years, we've spread our culinary seeds into various Metro Boston neighborhoods namely Kendall Square, Assembly Row, and the South End with inventive pan-Asian concepts. However, it is this location back in our hometown that stimulates an unparalleled level of reminiscence and excitement for all of us at JP Fuji Group. We look forward to once again serving the crowd that has supported us from the beginning and humbly invite all of you who have not yet enjoyed the Fuji Experience to join us in the culinary journey of a lifetime.

Private Chef's Kitchen

In an exclusively enclosed section of the restaurant is the Private Chefs Kitchen envisioned and executed by Chef Jimmy Liang and Chef Ming Cao. Here, guests can enjoy Omakase—a Japanese phrase that means ‘I’ll leave it up to you.' During Omakase guests are served individual courses of the chef’s choice in an open kitchen where the entire culinary orchestration takes place before their eyes. The courses are ‘off the menu’ and range from sashimi to wok tossed dishes. Guests will also enjoy beverage pairings to compliment select courses.

The dining room seats 12 guests and operates on a reservation-only basis.
